3. Invitation for Public Comment (3-minute time limit)
Description:
The Board will accept public comment related to current agenda topics or other items limited to three minutes (time may not be ceded to another). Anyone wishing to speak is asked to complete the sign-up sheet provided at the meeting. The Board, typically, will listen, but not respond. 4.A. D128 2027-28 District Calendar Review

Description:
Each year the District 128 Calendar Committee meets to design and recommend the D128 School District Calendar to the Board of Education for adoption. For planning purposes, the committee creates a calendar 2 years in advance of its implementation. Tom Koulentes will share the draft of the 2027-28 school year calendar the committee designed, discuss how it is reflective of school community priorities, and answer questions the Board of Education may have.
