12. Approve New Course for High School Level:
Films of the 20s through World War II
Course Description: This would be a semester-long class that focuses on how films of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s reflected the United States during that time period. We will look at comedies, cartoons and full-length movies and study how they represent American history at the time. Topics covered include the Boom to Bust of the 1920’s. Peer Connections
Course Description: This semester-long elective course provides students with disabilities the opportunity to partner with a non-disabled student as they attend general education courses. The Peer to peer program is a strategy for providing ongoing support and modeling in the general education setting.
