X.A. Adoption of EUPISD Common Calendar
Description:
ISDs are required to adopt a five-year calendar to apply to all of its constituent districts and to its ISD programs. The calendar must also be posted on the website.

X.B. Adoption of EUPISD Calendar
Description:
It is necessary for the board to approve our agency’s work day calendar for the 2026-2027 year. This is based on 245 work days.

X.C. Approval for Out-of-State Travel
Description:
Attachment X.A.1 This is request is for Merran Arbic, Special Education Supervisor, to attend the Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) Academy of Law and Leadership in Atlanta, GA, April 21-23, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $4,090 with costs covered by Special Education funds.
Attachment X.A.2 Additional request for Helen Craig, Curriculum Consultant/Regional Health Consultant, to attend the 2026 Society for Public Health Education Conference in Portland, OR, Aprill 22-24, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $2,529 with all costs covered by the Michigan Council for Maternal & Child Health Grant and reimbursed by the Michigan School Health Coordinators' Association capacity grant.

X.D. Leave of Absence Request
Description:
Kelli Fenlon-Wiinamaki, Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, has requested an intermittent unpaid leave of absence of 12 days through August 2026.

X.E. MASB Election
Description:
Completed ballots for the 2026 MASB Board of Directors must be submitted by Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The Board needs to determine which candidate to select. Cadidates for the three-year term in Region 1 are Brad Baltensperger, Houghton-Portage Township Schools, and JJ Johnson-Reeves, Escanaba Area Public Schools.

X.F. Vehicle Purchases
Description:
With the continued expansion of programs and staffing, and an aging fleet, we are finding a greater need for not only additional fleet vehicles, but replacement of existing. We are requesting an additional $100,000 to allow for flexibility in making these purchases.

Description:
The board members have received the superintendent's self-assessment. Evaluations will need to be completed and emailed to the Executive Assistant. The results will be compiled and presented at the March meeting.
