6. Discuss and Consider Approval of Increase to District Employee Health Insurance Contribution
Description:
I have attached two different calculators. With the changes to our health insurance offerings for next year, we are going to have to increase the amount we contribute to employees for health insurance. We have to do this to meet federal law. Employees currently receive $300 total - $225 from district and $75 from the State. We need to increase our portion to $378 per employee to be in compliance. I will let you know at Monday's meeting how many employees currently take school insurance.
