XIX. Consider and approve the following Board Goals for the 2026-2027 school year: 1. 80% of Lewis County Schools students, grades 1-12 will show an increase in test scores from the 2025-2026 assessments; 2. Monthly financial statements will be reviewed once a month to maintain a healthy fiscal climate and to inform the public of the fiscal standing of Lewis County Schools; 3. Working closely with the facility director, the board will focus on the resolution of facility problems that have been ongoing for several years; 4. The Board will monitor and oversee all fiscal matters ensuring the budget remains balanced for the 2026-27 school year; 5. The Board will work together with the community, parents, students, administrators, teachers and staff to maintain academic achievement, productive extracurricular activities and good working conditions during the 2026-27 school year due to the flood of July 21, 2026.
