June 20, 2024 at 12:30 PM - SH 130 MMD Board Meeting

1. Call to order

2. Roll call

3. Hear any public comments presented at the meeting, i.e., this is when the general public may address the Board about their concerns. The Board will not comment or deliberate, except as authorized by TEX. Gov'T CODE§ 551.042

4. Review and approve the minutes of the last regular meeting of the Board, which was held on May 15, 2024.
 

5. Review and approve Cash Activity Report and related payments, and take further action with regard to any additional reporting or budget related matters.
 

6. Discuss and consider proposed interest payment as part of reimbursement to Hayes family for amounts advanced to the District for operations during its development stage.
 

7. Update regarding proposed consent agreement with the City of Austin to bring Hayes Innovation Center for Advanced Manufacturing (HICAM) within the geographic boundaries of the District.
 

8. Update regarding proposed financing of market and feasibility studies for development of the Emerald Island project within the geographic boundaries of the District

9. Update regarding HICAM, specifically, update on overall operations, and status of building renovation.

10. Executive Session: Recess into executive session to deliberate and consult with attomey(s) about the following matters:

• a.    Consultation with attorney(s) in accordance with TEX. Gov'r CODE§ 551.071;
• b.    The purchase, exchange, lease, and/or value of real property in accordance with TEX. Gov'r CODE § 551.072; and
• c.    Commercial or financial information received from a business prospect that the Dis??rict seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the District's territory and with which the District is conducting economic development negotiations, as in accordance with TEX. Gov'r CODE§ 551.087(1).  

11. Reopen the meeting; and, if necessary, take any necessary action regarding the matters discussed in the executive session.
 

12. Discuss and confirm dates for next meeting.

13. Adjournment.
