Item #6 Consideration of PRIME Plan Final 2022-23 Calculations and Employee Distribution Amounts
2022 -2023 was the first year of the ESC performance plan PRIME (Promoting Retention & Incentives for Merit in Education). The 2022-2023 financial records are being finalized for audit, and per the PRIME timeline, the ESC Business Office has determined an accurate estimate of the net revenue and ending fund balance for the fiscal year that ended 8/31/23. Based on these estimates, ESC Administration is recommending that $2,000 be distributed to each employee who met the individual eligibility criteria for 2022-2023. These payments will be made as part of the November 16, 2023 ESC monthly payroll. Note: Board Item #4 includes a recommendation to reserve Committed Fund Balance for PRIME benefits, both the 2022-2023 PRIME payment being paid in November 2023 and a partial commitment for the 2023-2024 PRIME benefit, scheduled to be paid in August 2024. Additional commitments for PRIME will be recommended during 2023-2024 if needed. |
