This policy has been amended to comply with SB 1733, requiring school administrators to report suspected abuse to law enforcement and limiting investigations by school officials before law enforcement is notified. |

New Policy #961 Artificial Intelligence (this was previously an optional policy)
This is a new policy in response to the enactment of the Oklahoma Responsible Technology in Schools Act in SB 1734, limiting the use of artificial intelligence in public schools, requiring teacher oversight, and providing for annual disclosure to parents. This policy is now required by law. |

This policy has been amended in response to SB 1481 requiring schools to provide elementary students with 40 minutes of recess per day and prohibiting withholding recess as a discipline. |
