Description:
Audience participation at a Board meeting is limited to the public comment portion of the meeting designated for that purpose. Per H.B. 2840 all public comments shall be limited only to items on the board agenda for consideration. At all other times during a Board meeting, the audience shall not enter into discussion or debate on matters being considered by the Board, unless requested by the presiding officer. BED(LOCAL)

6)a) Consider Consent Agenda Items
Description:
The consent agenda shall include items of a routine and/or recurring nature grouped together under one action item. All such items shall be acted upon by one vote without separate discussion, unless a Board Member requests that an item be withdrawn for individual consideration. The remaining items shall be adopted under a single motion and vote as applicable.

Description:
Review of current year-to-date budget to actuals history and check register for the general operating fund, child nutrition fund, debt service fund, construction projects, and after-school program.

Description:
Review of current year-to-date tax collections of M&O and I&S from Johnson, Hood, and Tarrant Counties.

6)b) First Review of TASB Numbered Policy Update 123
Description:
TASB Policy Update 123 reflects recommended policy updates to the GISD policy manual. LEGAL policies are not adopted by the board, only LOCAL policies. |

6)c) Discussion and Consideration of YMCA After School Care Agreement
Description:
Godley ISD has been in conversation with the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth about partnering with us to provide after-school care to our students. With the retirement of our current Cub Club Director, this program would replace Cub Club and be offered at each of our elementary campuses.

6)d) Discussion and Review of District and Campus Student Handbooks
Description:
The District Handbook covers policies and procedures that align with district policy applicable to the district as a whole, while the Campus Handbooks offer specific information relevant to the unique aspects of each campus. While formal approval from the Board is not required, we value your review and feedback on these documents. |

6)e) Discussion and Possible Consideration of the District Code of Conduct
Description:
The Student Code of Conduct outlines the behavioral expectations for all students within our district. It includes detailed guidelines on student responsibilities, disciplinary procedures, and the consequences for various infractions.

6)f) StayALERT Anonymous Reporting
Description:
In the State of Texas, public schools are required to provide means for students, staff, and other community members to report safety concerns anonymously. This requirement ensures that potential threats or issues can be addressed promptly while protecting the identity of the reporter.
