Recent updates to Texas school safety requirements mandate the implementation of Silent Alert Technology to ensure rapid notification of law enforcement and emergency personnel in the event of a campus threat. Lorenzo ISD has reviewed available options and identified a technology solution that aligns with state standards, provides compatibility with existing security systems, and ensures reliability in emergency situations. This purchase will strengthen district-wide safety measures, providing staff with a direct and discreet means of alerting authorities to protect students and personnel.

4.b. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO CONSIDER THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A REPLACEMENT AC UNIT – ELEMENTARY ROOM 14:

This option is the most cost-effective, provides a 1-year parts and labor warranty, and ensures immediate availability of the unit.
