8.E. Transition from ECABE to BoardBook
Rationale:
eMeeting (CABE-Meeting) is migrating to a new platform as of June 30. The Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA), which created eMeeting will no longer be supporting this product and CABE does not have the financial or human resources to support this program on our own. CABE staff vetted a number of products and determined that BoardBook, developed by a consortium of the Nebraska Association of Boards of Education (NASB) and Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) best fit the criteria. BoardBook was modeled after eMeeting, keeping some features and improving functionality, creating a more intuitive, sophisticated, and modern product. Meeting and user data will be migrated to the BoardBook platform. The similarities between eMeeting and BoardBook is abundant. The learning curve should not be significant. The difference between the two products is most apparent in the improved functionality of the BoardBook product. In most if not all cases, users will have the same login ID and password. Users will need to use the BoardBook Premier login link. https://login.boardbook.org The following link may be helpful on viewing meeting materials: https://player.vimeo.com/video/454489361
