Literacy Lab Grades 9-12 .5 Credit 01009 Language Arts Laboratory Language Arts Laboratory courses provide instruction in basic language skills, integrating reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while placing great emphasis on the progress of individual students. Course content depends upon students’ abilities and may include vocabulary building, improving spelling and grammar, developing writing and composition skills, reading silently or aloud,and improving listening and comprehension abilities.
Math Lab Grades 9-12 .5 Credit 02049 Foundation Math This half -year course is designed to address mathematical standards that will better prepare students for success in core mathematics classes. Instruction and learning opportunities provide students with support for developing conceptual and procedural knowledge in basic math (e.g., place value, order of operations, estimation and rounding, decimals, etc.), and algebra, with support for learning strategies to aid their comprehension and retention of mathematics concepts |
