Rationale:
Connecticut General Statute 10-161 provides that a Board of Education may establish a firm graduation date at the beginning of the school year, as long as it is no earlier than the 180th day noted in the school calendar as originally adopted by the Board of Education. After April 1, Boards of Education can establish a firm graduation date and stick to it even if school days are cancelled later.
