I. Approval of Architectural Firm and Owner's Representative for the PreK-8 Building Project
Rationale:
The building committee has unanimously selected SP+A as the architecture firm to manage and design the project. Their proposed fee (which is still in negotiation) is $2,773,733 which is significantly lower than the estimates from the study, which ranged between $3,165,525 and $4,028,850. The hiring of SP+A requires Board approval.
