IV.A. Consider and if appropriate, approve edited 2019-20 School Calendar
Description:
We have made some revisions to the existing adopted 2019-20 calendar. They are, January 6 changes from a holiday to a staff development day. February 17 changes from a staff development day to a holiday. School ends on May 22 instead of May 28, and the workday changes to May 26 instead of May 29.
Basically, January 6 and February 17 flip flop and we end school 3 days earlier. |
IV.B. Consider and if appropriate, approve Title I funds.
Description:
We received 5,791.00 in Title I funding from TEA to be added to teacher salaries.
|
IV.C. Consider and if appropriate, approve Title II Part A funds.
Description:
We received 687.00 in Title II Part A funding from TEA to be added to teacher salaries.
|
IV.D. Consider and if appropriate, approve stipend pay for teachers of STAAR testing.
Description:
The pressure of a STAAR tested subject is tremendous. In a effort to show teacher appreciation I would like to give each teacher of a STAAR test 250.00 per test. A couple of Jr.Hi. teachers teach more than one STAAR test. The total will be 4,250.00.
|
IV.E. Consider and if appropriate, approve Instructional Materials Allotment Certification for 2018-19 school year.
Description:
We are required to certify that all instructional material purchased with state funds, is solely used for instruction and includes all of the TEKS- Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for each subject area and grade level taught.
