Seek and receive legal advice from the district's legal counsel under 55.071 of the Texas Government Code regarding legal implications of the requirements, and exceptions, for armed security personal under HB 3 and approving certain district employees to carry concealed handguns (" Guardian Plan") as an alternative standard to comply with section 37.0814 of the Texas Education Code {Texas Government Code 551.071}.

7.A. Deliberation and Possible Action Regarding authorizing the board president to execute a Resolution in accordance with HB 3 and Board Policy CKED (LOCAL) and authorize certification of additional training requirements for certain Hale Center ISD employees who are licensed by the state of Texas to carry concealed handguns, to carry such weapon on school premises and all school-sponsered and school-related activities. 

7.B. Deliberation and Possible Action regarding a Resolution of the board to employ or accept as volunteers Chaplains.

7.C. Consider and possible action to order a General Election of three (3) at-large trustee positions to be held on May 4, 2024.
