I.A. Somerset ISD will hold a Public Hearing at 6:30 pm, on Monday, July 27, 2026.  The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Somerset Independent School District's Federal Grants 2026-2027.

Public participation in the discussion is invited.

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Somerset Independent School District will be held immediately following the conclusion of the Public Hearing of Somerset Independent School District's Federal Grants 2026-2027.

VII.B. Approval to Call a Board of Trustees General Election for Single Member Districts 1, 2, 3, and 7.

VII.C. Approval of the extension of the Roberta C. Carlson contract for the 2026–2027 school year.

VIII.A. Presentation of Somerset ISD Education Foundation Quarterly Report.

VIII.B. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval to ratify the purchase of welding equipment and fume extraction systems for the Somerset High School Welding Lab through an approved vendor.

VIII.C. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval of the Ratification of a Change Order for Additional Electrical Infrastructure, Contract Time Extension, and General Contractor General Conditions Costs for the Somerset High School Welding Lab Renovation Project.

VIII.D. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval to purchase Classroom Furniture for Zacharias Early College Leadership Academy, which will support the growth in enrollment.

VIII.E. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval to purchase eighteen cafeteria tables with attached benches for the Somerset Elementary Cafeteria.

VIII.F. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval of the pre-purchase of two Trane packaged rooftop HVAC units for the Somerset Junior High School Gymnasium.

IX. CLOSED SESSION:
The Board will convene in Closed Session in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551, et. Seq. (TGC 551.071, TGC 551.072, TGC 551.073, TGC 551.074, TGC 551.076, TGC 551.082, TGC 551.083, and 551.084) to consider the following:
