I. Public Hearing and Regular Board Meeting:
Somerset ISD will hold a Public Hearing at 6:30p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026.  The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the 2024-2025 Somerset ISD Annual Report to include the Texas Academic Performing Report (TAPR).  The annual report will be available for viewing online at www.sisdk12.net or at Central Office beginning March 17, 2026.

Public participation in the discussion is invited.

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Somerset Independent School District will be held immediately following the conclusion of the Public Hearing of Somerset Independent School District's 2024-2025 to include the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR).

VII.B. Approval of the JROTC student's out-of-state travel to Fort Knox in Kentucky.

VII.C. Approval to amend the Somerset Independent School District's District of Innovation Plan.

VII.D. Approval to amend the 2025-2026 Compensation Plan.

VIII. PRESENTATION, DISCUSSION AND/OR ACTION ITEMS:

VIII.A. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval of the 2026-2027 Certification of Provision of Instructional Materials.

VIII.B. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval to purchase seven NVR's (servers) and their required licenses.

VIII.C. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval of the policy update of CE (Local) Annual Operating Budget.

VIII.D. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval of the final rankings for the selection of the General Contractor for the Somerset High School Welding Lab under the Request for Competitive Sealed Proposal delivery method.

VIII.E. Discussion and possible action regarding the review and approval of the 2026-2027 Budget Planning Calendar and designate the Superintendent or designee to update and revise the calendar when appropriate and necessary.

VIII.F. Presentation of the Somerset Independent School District Finance Update.

IX. CLOSED SESSION:
The Board will convene in Closed  Session in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code 551, et.seq. (TGC 551.071, TGC 551.072, TGC 551.073, TGC 551.074, TGC 551.076, TGC 551.082, TGC 551.083, and TGC 551.084) to consider the following:

IX.A. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.074, deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluating, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

IX.B. Discussion regarding approval of renewal of Somerset ISD administrator contracts.  Texas Government Code 551.074.

IX.C. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.076, the Somerset Independent School District Vulnerability Audit Report Findings will be discussed in executive session.

IX.D. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.074, discussion regarding the Superintendent evaluation process.

X. OPEN SESSION:  Return to Open Session to Take Action Deemed Necessary.
