V. BUDGET WORKSHOP #2: 
Somerset ISD will hold Budget Workshop #2 on Monday, July 14, 2025, for the purpose of discussing the school district's budget for the 2025-2026 school year "immediately following the July 14, 2025, Regular Meeting that begins at 6:30p.m."

This meeting is open to the public and citizens are invited to attend.

VI. PRESENTATION, DISCUSSION AND/OR ACTION ITEMS:

VI.A. Consider and take possible action to amend Board Policy FNCE (LOCAL) to adopt a written policy prohibiting a student from using a personal communication device while on school property during the school day, as required by Texas Education Code Section 37.082.

VI.B. Consider and take possible action to amend Board Policy FM (LOCAL), as allowed by Texas Education Code Section 33.0832(c-2), to decline to grant non-enrolled students the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, including activities governed by the University Interscholastic League.

VI.C. Consider and take possible action on employee raises for the 2025-2026 school year.
