A Notice of Public Meeting to Discuss Budget and Proposed Tax Rate to be held August 28,
2025 at 6:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the school district’s budget, which
will determine the tax rate that will be adopted.

(The public is invited to sign up and speak on matters of concern. The Board welcomes comments during the Public Comments portion of the meeting. However, in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, board members cannot respond, discuss, or vote on issues. Should any final action, final decision, or final vote be required in the opinion of the school Board with regard to any matter considered in such closed meeting or session, then the final action, final decision, or final vote shall be either: (a) in the open meeting covered by the Notice upon the reconvening of the public meeting; or (b) at a subsequent public meeting of the School Board upon notice thereof; as the School Board shall determine.
