1. FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS: Announcement by the Chairman as to the presence of a quorum, that the meeting has been duly called, and that the notice for the meeting has been posted for time required by law.

2. Consent Agenda Item:

2.A. Consider from the authority responsible for preparing the ballot (i.e., the Board secretary) the CERTIFICATION OF UNOPPOSED CANDIDATES in the Shallowater ISD general election. (This item affects only the general trustee election.  The two special elections to fill a one-year unexpired term on the Board of Trustees and a two-year unexpired term on the Board of Trustees shall be conducted on May 14, 2011.)
 
Considerar por parte de la autoridad responsable de preparar la boleta (por ejemplo, la secretaria del Consejo) la CERTIFICACIÓN DE CANDIDATOS SIN OPOSICIÓN en las elecciones generales del Distrito escolar independiente de Shallowater. (Este punto afecta solamente a la elección general de fideicomisarios. Las dos elecciones especiales para cubrir el plazo de un año no vencido en el Consejo de administración y el plazo de dos años no vencido en el Consejo de administración se celebrarán el 14 de mayo de 2011.)

Consideration and possible action to order the cancellation of general election and declare unopposed candidates elected.  (This item affects only the general trustee election.  The two special elections to fill a one-year unexpired term on the Board of Trustees and a two-year unexpired term on the Board of Trustees shall be conducted on May 14, 2011.)  
 
Consideración y posibles medidas a tomar para ordenar la cancelación de elecciones generales y declarar elegidos a los candidatos sin oposición. (Este punto afecta solamente a la elección general de fideicomisarios. Las dos elecciones especiales para cubrir el plazo de un año no vencido en el Consejo de administración y el plazo de dos años no vencido en el Consejo de administración se celebrarán el 14 de mayo de 2011.)
