Description:
Maggie made a motion to approve the January 16, 2007 Regular Board Minutes. Frances Braswell seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Description:
Albert Peña and Juan Gutierrez passed out the plaques for the Citizens of the Month. The students were given a plaque and some certicates for Stars Drive Thru.

Description:
Mr. Carlos Guerra announced that the Employee of the Month was Marlene Guerra. Marelene Guerra, Business Teacher, was not able to attend because she was out on maternity leave.

6. AEIS Public Hearing
Description:
Mr. Guerra explained the AEIS report to the ones present at the meeting. He also mentioned that in the report there is an English and a Spanish Glossary. The San Perlita School District was "Recognized" for the 2005-2006 school year.

7. David & Nadine Ybarra: Follow Up in Reference to Son
Description:
Mr. and Mrs. Ybarra had asked to be put on the agenda to follow up on some concerns they had with their son. Mr. & Mrs. Ybarra did not show up to the meeting. Mr. Carlos Guerra assumed that the reason they were concern was because they felt that the school did not respond to them quick enough on a concern they had and had addressed to the board the month before. Mr. Guerra did mention that the school is in compliance because the school had until the next board meeting to respond to the parents on their concern.

8. Board Member Continuing Education Hours
Description:
Mr. Guerra went over the educational hours that are required. He did mention to the board that everyone will be in compliance with the training they will have in the month of March and that they mush have the Team Building within the next 30 to 45 days.

9. Board of Trustees Elections 2007
Description:
Frances Braswell made a motion to Order an Election for 2007, the appointment in officers to conduct the election, appoint ealry voting clerek and set time and place of early voting as presented on item #9. Nora Vasquez seconded the motion. Motion carries.

Description:
Frances Braswell made a motion to approve the Joint Election Agreement with the City of San Perlita for the 2007 Elections. Maggie Sepulveda seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Description:
Nora Vasquez made a motion to approve the board meeting date change to March 6th, 2007 instead of March 13th since spring break would fall during the March 13th board meeting. Norma Llanes seconded the motion. Motion carried.
