7. Construction Update
Description:
Mr. Lara updated the board with construction issues and concerns. Lino Ochoa went up to explain to the board that there is still about 10% of construction that hasn't been finished but it has been 10% for a long time. He sent a letter to Susie Syrus letting them know that they had until the end of the month to complete the project. If it was not completed by the end of the month then they would need to take some other kind of legal action. Mr. Ochoa did make it clear that if they were 98% or 99% done by the end of the month then they would allow them to finish and they would not take any kind of legal action since the school would probably loose more going throught the legalities instead of waiting for the other 2% or 3% that needed to be done.
Then board asked him a few questions which he answered.
