4. Public Comments/Open Forum
The Board provides a limited forum for public comment at all regular Board meetings.  Speaking during this open forum does not require placement on the Board agenda.  Public participation in Board meetings is governed by policy BED (LOCAL).  The board will not comment or engage in discussion during this agenda item. All comments are to be informative only, and no action can be taken.  The board requests that comments and presentations not include statements that are inflammatory or slanderous.
Public comments may not exceed five minutes, and issues for which the Board has established resolution channels, such as complaints against district employees, may not be brought before the Board in an open forum.  Refer to local policy BED or contact the superintendent’s office for more information on policies regarding employee, student, or parent complaints.

Consider an order authorizing the issuance, sale, and delivery of Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco Independent School District Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds, Series 2024; approving the amount, the interest rates, price, and terms thereof and certain other procedures and provisions related thereto; and containing other matters related thereto.

5.D. Discussion and Possible Action To Adopt Tax Rate for 2024-2025.

5.E. Consider and Possible Action to Adopt the Order Canceling the November 5, 2024, General Election-Place 4, Place 5, Place 6, and Place 7, and to Certify the Unopposed Candidates Elected as of November 5, 2024.

The Board of Trustees may go into Closed Session pursuant to Section(s) 551.071, 551.072, and 551.074 Texas Government Code, to discuss the following:
