2. PUBLIC FORUM

2.A. Patrons who have duly registered per policy BED (Local) may address the Board and make public comments on an agenda item during or before the board's consideration of the item.  The Board may allow public comment on agenda items at all meetings. The Board will continue with the remaining agenda after the registered patrons have had an opportunity to speak

3. ADJOURN INTO CLOSED SESSION

3.A. For the purpose of considering matters for which closed sessions are authorized by Chapter 551.071-551.084, Texas Government Code, whereupon the Superintendent at the request of the Board President, will present for the Board's consideration or discussion the following matters.

3.A.1. Section 551.071  For the purpose of a private consultation with the Board's attorney on any or all subjects or matters authorized by law.

3.A.1.a. Consultation with legal counsel regarding Superintendent’s recommendation to propose termination and suspension without pay of a non certified contract of teacher. This consultation may take place telephonically. 551.071        

4. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION

4.A. Consideration and possible action of items discussed in Closed Session

4.A.1. Consideration and possible action to propose termination of non-certified contract of a teacher.

4.A.2. Consideration and possible action to suspend without pay non certified teacher, effective immediately, on a temporary basis pending completion of a due process hearing, if any, pursuant to Board Policy DCE (Legal) and (Local).
