Pursuant to Texas Government Code sections 551.071 and 551.129, seek advice from legal counsel regarding agreement(s) related to mitigating water damage and repair of Stafford Elementary School due to winter storm damage as well as possible emergency declaration and delegation of authority for emergency purchases related to the 2022 Winter Storm damage.

4.A. Emergency Declaration and Delegation of Authority for Emergency Purchases
Consider and take possible action regarding the Resolution of the Italy Independent School District Board of Trustees of Emergency Delegation and Delegation of Authority for Emergency Purchases Related to the 2022 Winter Storm Damage to Stafford Elementary School, which includes declaration of an emergent exception as set out in Tex. Educ. Code section 44.031 and possible delegation of the authority to the Superintendent to make emergency purchases necessary for repair of school facilities. 

4.B. Agreement for Mitigation of Water Damage in Stafford Elementary School
Consider and take possible action regarding possible agreement(s) with contractor(s) for mitigation of water damage and repair of facilities at Stafford Elementary School, including possible delegation of authority to the Superintendent to negotiate and execute the same.
