VII.I.1. Approve request to allow West Harrison High School senior class students to travel to Mobile, Alabama on September 24, 2019 to tour the University of South Alabama.

VII.I.2. Approve request to allow D'Iberville Middle School 7th grade students to participate in a field trip on October 16, 2019 with the Biloxi Visitor Central and will include a riverboat ride.

VII.I.3. Approve request to allow D'Iberville Middle School 4th grade students to participate in a field trip at the Marine Education Center on September 12, 2019, including a boat ride.

VII.I.4. Approve request to hire an additional School Resource Officer from the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.

VII.I.10. Authorize payment #4 to Roofing Solutions, LLC in the amount of $110,960.76 for the Wind Retrofit project at West Wortham Elementary/Middle School.

VII.I.11. Authorize payment #4 to Roofing Solutions, LLC in the amount of $122,258.35 for the Wind Retrofit project at Lyman Elementary School.

VII.I.12. Approve request allowing West Harrison High School to request HC Board of Supervisors to waive fees for use of facilities at storm shelter located on County Farm Road on November 2, 2019 for their annual homecoming dance.

VII.I.15. Authorize payment #3 to Eddie Pearson Roofing, LLC in the amount of $43,005.49 for the Wind Retrofit roofing project at Bel-Aire Elementary School.

VII.I.16. Authorize payment #3 to Rowell Roofing, Inc., in the amount of $176,093.90 for the Wind Retrofit roofing project at HC Child Development Center.

VII.I.17. Authorize acceptance of $600.00 donation from Knights of Columbus Council 9094 to D'Iberville Middle School, specifically to purchase supplies and/or equipment for the special education department.

VII.I.18. Authorize to extend home-bound services for Bel-Aire Elementary student #S001383863 due to medical condition.  Documentation is provided and on file.

VII.I.19. Authorize HCSD Special Education Department to accept donation of 158 tablets and subscriptions for teachers from MobyMax.  Value $15,800 tablets, and $15,800 subscriptions = $31,600 total donation

VII.I.20. Authorize payment in the amount of $1,800.00 to Valbridge Property Advisors for certified appraisal conducted on Turkey Creek property location on Rippy Road. ( appraised value shall remain sealed until bid process is determined)

VII.I.21. Authorize Federal Programs to pay for  Spring FY2019 dual credit and advanced placement fees for D'Iberville High students eligible through Title IV free/reduced meals, who were left off the original request January 28, 2019. 

VII.I.22. Authorize Federal Programs to pay Fall FY20 dual credit and advanced placement fees for students eligible through Title IV free/reduced meals.  These students were not included in the original list submitted in August 2019.

VII.I.23. Approve affidavit to remove items from Woolmarket Elementary fixed asset inventory list that are broken or missing.  Police report included for missing items.

VII.I.24. Approve Change Order to Eddie Pearson Roofing, LLC, for wind retrofit roofing project at Bel-Aire Elementary School as listed.  Detailed summary included.

VII.I.25. Approve Claim Docket for checks prepared on August 23, August 30, and September 6, 2019, as reconciled by the Accounting Department.

VII.I.26. Approve request to reimburse out of pocket deductible to Jennifer Henson, BAE teacher, for damages caused by grass crew on August 14, 2019.

VII.I.27. Approve Change Order to Samuel B. Day Construction for the Harrison Central High Cafeteria Expansion project.  The change order includes additional electrical feed to existing panel, steel wall wrap, and credit for masonry allowance, which leaves a balance of $434.00 add-on to the contract.

VII.I.28. Approve Inter-Agency Agreement between HCSD Special Education Department and Gulf Oaks Therapeutic Day School for the 2019-2020 school year.

VII.I.29. Approve Agreement between HCSD Special Education Department and Chamberlain Counseling for services through May 22, 2020.

VII.I.30. Approve Inter-Agency Agreement between HCSD Special Services and Gulf Coast Mental Health Center for School Based Mental Health services at Harrison Central Elementary, Orange Grove Elementary, and Three Rivers Elementary during the 2019-2020 school year.

VII.I.31. For information and record purposes, Warranty Deed 2.29 acres adjoining D'Iberville High School (Lynam property).

VII.I.32. Authorize payment to Albert Necaise, Attorney at Law, for professional services rendered in the litigation of HCSD versus Lamar Company.
