EXECUTIVE SESSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of the Española Public Schools will meet in Executive Session pursuant to NMSA 1978, Section 10-15-1 (H) (2) for the following purpose: specifically, to discuss and evaluate performance matters related to the Superintendent including possible investigation of same, possible administrative leave pending investigation, and possible acting or interim superintendent.

Approve an engagement agreement with an outside investigator for the purpose of investigating performance-related questions prompted by the allegations contained in the recent Garrity v. Pecos ISD, Fred Trujillo, et al legal claim, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico on May 4, 2021, as they may relate to or impact Española Public Schools.
