Description:
Any citizen who would like to address the Board will be able to do so as the item on the regular agenda. Comments will be limited to 2 minutes per subject. If further time is needed, concerns should be addressed to the Superintendent. Personnel matters will not be discussed in a public meeting. Items that appear under the heading Routine and Regular Business will not be discussed or comments taken unless it is requested that they be removed from that category and placed on the regular agenda. Action on Routine and Regular Business will be acted upon with one motion and one vote.
Discussion:
Dustin Farnsworth - J - attend CHS. Fundamental gap in a policy J25111 - Service Dog - inability to complete with ADA. Daughter's right are being violated as per Mr. Farnsworht - Address and Correct to it complies with the American Disability Act.

Discussion:
CBA as negotiated with NEA. In cooperation with bargaining. Seeking approval of the CBA. Was ratified with members in a meeting last night.

4.B. Salary as negotiated with NEA (ACTION)

Discussion:
Salary as negotiated with NEA in the bargaining sessions. They were ratified by members at a meeting last night. NEA officers; are in attendance at these meetings. a TEam or a committee: Rosemary Carrasco, Tamarion Garriott and Bess Rusk and Greg. - Negotions - all came together. going forward - one Elem teacher, one middle school teacher - Bess Rusk; high school teacher, a school nurse and a counsel/social worker and a secretary/receptionist, so each group will be represented that NEA bargains for. Additonal ten minutes that was added to the contract without compensation. - Approved 4 additional days to the contract; insurance adjustment 80/20. Mandated by PED to increase the instructional day by ten minutes. - Addional day of leave was added (1 personal day) rather than sick leave in exchange. Buyout of days after 5 years, $20 per sick day is changed to $200 per day - can cap 190 days. Additional leave, more can roll over. Social Worker/Counselors met with Dr. Washburn regarding the salary schedule. All had to be presented and ratified or go back to bargaining and arbitration. Placed as their titles allowed. Will work towards a combined salary schedule for the upcoming year. All has been addressed and were aminable.
