Description:
If needed, the Board will conduct a closed meeting for purposes permitted as follows:
Texas Government Code §551.071, §551.072, and §551.129, receive legal advice and deliberate with regard to the purchase of the real property TRACT 015Q, ACRES 2.48, in Orange County Appraisal District's Property ID R309538, from Cow Bayou Holdings, LLC. Texas Government Code §551.089, to deliberate security personnel, and/or devices. Texas Government Code §551, Subchapters D and E. If necessary, the board will convene in closed session for the discussion of any item on the agenda in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. Any action the Board wishes to take as a result of discussion in a closed session will take place after the Board reconvenes in the open meeting. |

Consideration of and possible action on a Resolution and Real Estate Sales Contract for the purchase of the real property (surface estate only) identified as 8 ABST. 8 JAMES DYSON, TRACT 015Q, ACRES 2.48 in Orange County Appraisal District's Identification Number R309538, from Cow Bayou Holdings, LLC, for $91,935.00 per surveyed acre or $228,000.00, whichever is less, plus the costs related to the conveyance, for future development to support the educational mission of the school district.
