I. Meeting Details
Description:
Description: This School Board Meeting will be held in-person and virtually in the School Board Room and online. In order to view the meeting, please use the provided URL Zoom link. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84762496490
If you join virtually, please note that you will be joining a meeting as an attendee, meaning that you will be able to see and hear the participants of the Board meeting but they will not be able to see or hear you. Meeting handouts will be added to the Board agenda on the evening of the meeting. A recording of the meeting will be posted on the School Board agenda webpage within 48 hours of the meeting. IV. Recognition of Accomplishment
Description:
Board members may recognize students, staff or community members for outstanding contributions to the district or educational community.

V. Resident Participation
Description:
Resident participation is for those who wish to speak to the Board. Please review the Resident Participation guideline document at the meeting for more information. Time will be limited to two minutes per speaker. Resident participation will be stopped after one hour.

VI. Consent Agenda - Ms. Brooks
Description:
Consent agenda items are routine items that the Board approves without discussion. Board members may remove items from the consent agenda for further discussion, or to vote differently on that particular item.

VI.A. Agenda
Description:
The Board will approve or revise the agenda for the meeting.
|
VI.B. Bills for Payment
Description:
Bills for payment include all invoices that are currently due by the district.
|
VI.C. Minutes
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve the minutes as listed. Minutes are typically posted on the website once a month.

VI.D. Staffing - New Hires, Resignations, Retirements, Revised FTE
Description:
Board members routinely approve various staffing items on the consent agenda. Staffing decisions that have a large scale impact and need more discussion are listed on a different part of the agenda, as appropriate.

VI.E. Administrative 2023-25 Contracts
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve the renewal of administrator contracts. This does not include a salary aspect.

VI.F. Donations - Bucyrus Foundation, Lions Club and Knights of Columbus
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve donations from the Bucyrus Foundation, the Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus.

Description:
The Board discussed the equity non-negotiables at the last meeting. The Board agreed to bring them forward for approval at this meeting.

Description:

Description:
Board members and administrators who attended the WASB Convention will be asked to provide feedback about the sessions they attended to the whole Board.

VII.C.3. Resident Participation Guidelines Approval
Description:
The Board discussed the guidelines at the previous meeting. After discussion and revisions, the Board may approve the new guidelines at the meeting.

VII.C.4. Second Reading: 341.3 Education for Employment/School to Work Policy Update
Description:
The Board will be asked to the approve the second reading of this policy.

Description:
The Board will be asked to approve the new salary structure and settlement for 2022-23.

Description:

X. Announcements
Description:
Board members may make announcements related to recent or upcoming topics or events.

XI. Closed Session - The Board will move into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session to discuss teacher, secretary, and paraprofessional negotiations and pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility to discuss compensation details.
