Description:
The Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser plays a vital role in evaluating teaching and learning to provide meaningful feedback to staff. Appraisers support teacher efforts to improve instruction and student performance through observations and feedback. The T-TESS evaluation system requires that all appraisers successfully complete initial training and pass a certification exam prior to conducting formal observations. Experienced administrators must also pass a recertification exam that helps appraisers calibrate their observations and deepen their understanding of the T-TESS rubric.

11.F. Consideration and possible action regarding submission of one general classroom waiver to the Texas Education Agency in accordance with the District of Innovation plan.
Description:
A class size waiver must be submitted to the Texas Education Agency for any class size from Kindergarten through 4th grade above 22:1 student/teacher ratio. However, in accordance with the District of Innovation plan, Prosper ISD will submit one general class size waiver request at the start of the school year, as we have done in previous years.
