II. Consider the attached Accounts Payable Vouchers and the November 22, 2022 payroll for payment.

IV. Superintendent and/or School Board Member Report

Goal Area 1 - Academics:  All learners will continuously demonstrate academic growth.

Goal Area 2 - Safety:  We will provide a safe and secure learning environment for all.

Goal Area 3 - Equity:  We will provide a positive, inclusive, and equitable environment for all.

Goal Area 4 - Communication:  We will improve communication and strengthen relationships both internally and externally.

Goal Area 5 - Finances:  We will advocate to increase the financial resources of the Corporation to provide an outstanding school environment and opportunities for our students, staff, and community.

V. Professional Development

V.A. We recommend Cynthia Trevino attend the IAPSS (Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents) Fall Meeting on November 3030 to December 2, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana with expenses paid from the Title IIA Fund.

V.B. We recommend Regin Johnson, Linnett Carpenter, Mark Harangody, and Susan Bennett attend the PLTW (Project Lead the Way) Train the Trainer on November 14- 15, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana with the expenses paid from partially from the Title I and partially from the PLTW fund.  
 

V.C. Recommend approving the Professional Development items.

VI. Leave/Resignation/Employment
All new employment to Lake Ridge New Tech Schools is contingent upon a cleared Expanded Criminal History Background Check within 30 days and a cleared Expanded Child Protection Index Check within 60 days of effective date.  IC 20-26-2-1.5 and IC 20-26-2-1.3

VI.A. We recommend accepting Lemonia Katsiris’ resignation from the  Home School Liaison position at Longfellow New Tech Elementary School effective November 15, 2022.
 

VI.B. We recommend Sara Stafford be employed as a 1^st Grade Teacher at Longfellow New Tech Elementary effective November 15, 2022.

 

VI.C. Recommend approval of the Leaves/Resignations/Employment items.

VII. New Business

VII.A. We are recommending canceling the December 26, 2022, Board Meeting due to the holiday break.
 

VII.B. We recommend approving the following fundraisers at Lake Ridge New Tech Middle School:                                                                

• November 29, 2022 – December 13, 2022 Popping popcorn sales for the Cheer Account.
• December 2,2022- Dress Down Day sales for the Cheer Account.
• December 16, 2022 – December 23, 2022, Krispy Kream sales for the Cheer Account.

VII.C. We recommend approving the Behavior Interventionist, Reset Room  Counselor, and Home-School Liaison Compensation Request for the 2022-2023 school year.
 

VII.D. Recommend approval of the new business items.
