VII. Superintendent and/or School Board Member Report

Goal Area 1 - Academics:  All learners will continuously demonstrate academic growth.

Goal Area 2 - Safety:  We will provide a safe and secure learning environment for all.

Goal Area 3 - Equity:  We will provide a positive, inclusive, and equitable environment for all.

Goal Area 4 - Communication:  We will improve communication and strengthen relationships both internally and externally.

Goal Area 5 - Finances:  We will advocate to increase the financial resources of the Corporation to provide an outstanding school environment and opportunities for our students, staff, and community.

Athletic Director, Sara Kuntarich from Calumet New Tech High School and Jerea Protho-Guider from Lake Ridge New Tech Middle School will provide a presentation on athletics and a reflection/review of the last year and future endeavors. 

VIII. Leave/Resignation/Employment
All new employment to Lake Ridge New Tech Schools is contingent upon a cleared Expanded Criminal History Background Check within 30 days and a cleared Expanded Child Protection Index Check within 60 days of effective date.  IC 20-26-2-1.5 and IC 20-26-2-1.3

VIII.A. Recommend accepting Susan Cassady’s resignation from the Title I Paraprofessional position at Longfellow New Tech Elementary School effective June 17, 2021.
 

VIII.B. Recommend accepting Angelina Maine’s resignation from the 5th grade teaching position at Lake Ridge New Tech Middle School effective June 17, 2021.
 

VIII.C. Recommend accepting Kari Nelson’s resignation from the Physical Education Teacher at Calumet New Tech High School effective June 17, 2021.

 

VIII.D. Recommend accepting Kristin Mantta’s resignation from the Title I Paraprofessional position at Lake Ridge New Tech Middle School effective May 28, 2021.
 

VIII.E. Recommend approval of the Leaves/Resignations/Employment items.

IX.A. Recommend approving renewing the contract between Lake Ridge Head Start and Clarity Clinic for Mental Health Services for the 2021-2022 school year.

July 28, 2021 thru August 1, 2021 – Online Popcorn Sales – Swim Account
 

IX.C. Recommend approving a Purchase Order over $10,000 to the New Tech Net Work for additional training paid from the Title IV Grant.
 

IX.D. Recommend approving the attached list of Non-Resident Transfer Students at Longfellow New Tech Elementary School for the 2021-2022 school year.
 

IX.E. Recommend approving the attached list of Non-Resident Transfer Students at Lake Ridge New Tech Middle School for the 2021-2022 school year.
 

IX.F. Recommend approving the attached list of Non-Resident Transfer Students at  Calumet New Tech High School for the 2021-2022 school year.
