Principal's Report

Mrs. White presented the Elementary Board Report. GES attendance is currently above our goal for the year. Mrs. White gave data for the tardies, early check-outs and visitor check-ins. She also gave information on special program enrollment numbers. The total enrollment for Elementary is 369. She also discussed upcoming events. Mr. Massey gave the Middle School Board Report. Cheer tryouts are completed and there will be 13 cheerleaders for the 2024-2025 school year. Track & Field has completed 3 of their 4 track meets. The Middle School Band enjoyed their trip to Orlando. Rylie Fuller & Lexis Williamson did well at the Houston Livestock Show. He then gave upcoming event dates. Mr. Compton gave the High School Board Report. The academic UIL competition is April 3rd at SFA. STAAR testing begins April 15th. Prom is March 23rd and Noble Scholar Reception is March 25th. He also gave updates on baseball, softball, tennis, golf, powerlifting, track, band, and FFA.

Mr. Spivey presented bids for improvements to the baseball/softball fields from Field in Grass and Aaron Davis Construction. Bids were requested from Jesse Gillis & John Sparks. Mr. Gillis resended his bid and John Sparks recommended another contractor.
