B. Discuss and possible take action to possibly approve TASB board policy update 127. C. Discussion and Possible Action to Open a Community Feedback Forum Regarding the Potential Consolidation of Roby CISD and Rotan ISD The Board will discuss and consider opening a public feedback and information-gathering process regarding the potential consolidation of Roby CISD and Rotan ISD. This forum process is intended solely to gather input, questions, concerns, and perspectives from community members, parents, students, staff, and other stakeholders. No decision regarding consolidation is being made at this time, and opening the feedback process does not commit the district or Board to pursuing consolidation. The purpose of the forum is to ensure transparency, encourage community involvement, and allow the Board to better understand stakeholder perspectives before considering any future discussions or actions. |

Personnel Matters: The board is not required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee. However, the board may not conduct a closed meeting for these purposes if the officer or employee who is the subject of the deliberation or hearing requests a public hearing. Tex. Gov’t Code § 551.074.
