A. Current Enrollment is 308 B. Current attendance for the year is 96.17% C. We have signed for the $200,000 light grant we received, and we are working on next steps. D. Centegix has completed installation of our new security system. We will train all staff on February 12th. E. Rock House Demolition report F. Retaining Government Capital services to advise the district regarding the new IREN facility and possible facility upgrades. G. We will be looking at changing our benefits provider. |

A. Discuss and take action on employment and/or resignations of school personnel.
B. Discuss and take action to approve James E. Rodgers and Company, P.C. for audit services for the fiscal year ending on August 31, 2026. C. Discuss and take action to approve the 2026-2027 Roby CISD calendar. D. Discuss and take action to consider adoption or non-adoption of a policy under Senate BIll 11 (89th Texas Legislature) relating to a voluntary period of prayer and/or reading the Bible or religious texts. If the Board chooses not to adopt, the basis would be that:

Closed Session

A. Real Property Deliberations: The board may conduct a closed meeting to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the board’s position in negotiations with a third person. Tex. Gov’t Code § 551.072.

B. Personnel Matters: The board is not required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee. However, the board may not conduct a closed meeting for these purposes if the officer or employee who is the subject of the deliberation or hearing requests a public hearing. Tex. Gov’t Code § 551.074.

C. Economic Development Negotiations: The board is not required to conduct an open meeting (1) to discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the board has received from a business prospect that the board seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the district and with which the board is conducting economic development negotiations; or (2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect. Tex. Gov’t Code § 551.087.
