Description:
2020 has brought about many challenges and uncertainty to our world that we could never have imagined. From the initial shutdown in March through a phase-in to re-opening to a new return to learning planning and implementation. As Administration, we have witnessed the amount of stress and anxiety that this has caused to many faculty and support staff. We are recommending the implementation of an Employee Assistance Program that would provide Guidance Resources (counseling) and Work-Life Services, such as, family care services, legal services and financial services.
These are confidential services offered to the employee and are not reported nor monitored by the District. The recommendation by administration would be to elect the Telephonic GuidanceResources Option (see page 13 of the proposal) at a cost of $1.19/person/month. The annual cost would be approximately $1,813.56. |
