3. Acceptance of Consent Agenda
Description:
As good practice, the board should accept the consent agenda for the evening's meeting which includes minutes of the October regular meeting and the October financial reports.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent that the consent agenda be reviewed and accepted. 8. E-Rate Filtering Review - Technology
Description:
The Board must annually review the e-rate filtering policies utilized in the district. Lightspeed filters Chromebooks and Palo Alto is responsible for all other devices. No action is required by the BOE. The filtering policies are attached.

9. Activity Approval - Girls' Basketball Camp
Description:
BOE approval is necessary for field trips that are planned to keep students out of the district overnight or longer. Jill Peterson, the girls' basketball coach, is seeking approval for an overnight basketball camp from December 2-4, 2022. The activity application is attached.
RECOMMENDATION: The superintendent recommends approving the girls' basketball camp request. Description:
A closed session to consider the suspension of student #27517 has been requested.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent to meet in closed session. MOTION BY ____________________; SECONDED BY ____________________ BE IT RESOLVED that the Centreville Board of Education go into closed session under the Open Meetings Act, 15.268, Section 8 (b) to consider the dismissal, suspension, or disciplining of a student (student #27517). 12. Motion for Expulsion
Description:
The background documentation on student #27517 was included in the expulsion packet and reviewed in closed session.
RECOMMENDATION: The administration is recommending the permanent expulsion of student #27517 for violating the Harassment policy outlined in the Centreville Jr/Sr High School Student Code of Conduct and as part of Board policy po 0145 Discriminatory Harassment, MCL 380.1300a MOTION BY: __________________________ SUPPORTED BY:___________________________ BE IT RESOLVED that the Centreville Board Of Education expel / not expel permanently student #27517 for violating the Harassment policy outlined in the Centreville Jr/Sr High School Student Code of Conduct and as part of Board policy po 0145 Discriminatory Harassment, MCL 380.1300a.
