Description:
BACKGROUND: As a good practice, the board should accept the consent agenda for the evening's meeting which includes minutes of the August 9 special meeting and the July financial reports. RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent that the consent agenda be reviewed and accepted. Description:
The district has received the attached July billing from TowerPinkster.
TowerPinkster - Total $7,757.79 $3,904.56 - Construction Administration - Jr/Sr High School $3,853.23 - Construction Administration - Elementary RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent to approve payment to TowerPinkster as presented. 6. Resignation - Shawn Hulin
Description:
Shawn Hulin has resigned from his teaching position to take a position with Branch Area Career Center as their Construction Trades teacher. Shawn has been with the district 25 years. His letter is attached.
RECOMMENDATION: Accept the resignation of Shawn Hulin. Description:
Genecia Mejeur's resignation created an opening for a Jr/Sr High School math teacher. Andrew Olson, a current CPS employee and Western Michigan University graduate, applied for the position. His data sheet is attached. Andrew has been the jail teacher, alternative ed teacher, and online mentor in the past. His data sheet is attached.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent and the jr/sr high school principal to approve the hire of Andrew Olson as a Jr/Sr High School math teacher.
