Description:
As a good practice, the board should accept the consent agenda for the evening's meeting which includes minutes of the May 24 regular meeting.

6. CEA Contract Approval
Description:
Negotiations were recently settled with the Centreville Education Association and their contract is presented for approval. A final copy is attached.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the 2021-2022 Centreville Education Association contract as attached. 7. Transportation - Communications Purchase Approval
Description:
Transportation Supervisor Ceairra Green is requesting approval to purchase a new communications system to replace the outdated equipment currently being used. The proposal and quote are attached. Funds for the purchase would come from the transportation portion of Phase 3 bonds.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent, Ceairra Green, the transportation committee, and Jeff Troyer to approve the purchase of a new communications system from Roe-Comm. 8. Scoreboard Approval
Description:
The existing scoreboards in the football stadium and jr/sr high school gym are 25+ years old and in need of replacement. The Athletic Department recommendation, photos, and quotes are attached. The total replacement cost with installation is $49,444. The Bulldog Booster Club has committed to paying for half of the cost. The district portion would come from the 2021-22 GF budget.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent, the Athletic Department, and the jr/sr high school principal to approve the purchase/installation of new scoreboards per the attached quotes. The building/site committee and the finance committee have also reviewed this proposal. 10. New Coaching Staff - Alicia Schmidtendorff
Description:
Earlier this year the BOE approved Rob Collins' resignation as varsity cross-country coach. The position was posted and Alicia Schmidtendorff, current JH CC coach, applied. Alicia has been part of the cross-country coaching team since 2018. Her data sheet is attached.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent, the jr/sr high school principal, and the athletic department to approve the hire of Alicia Schmidtendorff as varsity cross-country coach. Description:

12. Extended COVID Learning Plan - June
Description:
On August 20, 2020, Governor Whitmer signed House Bill 5913 into law as Public Act 149. Section 98a states that in order to receive state aid for 2020-2021, districts must provide for instruction under an extended COVID-19 Learning Plan ("Plan") that has been approved by an intermediate district or authorizing body. Each month, through June 2021, the BOE must reaffirm the district's Plan. There are no changes to this month's attached plan.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent to reaffirm the district's Extended Continuity of Learning Plan as attached.
