Description:  The oath of office for Jackie Bowen, Margaret Miller, TJ Reed, and Jeff Troyer will be administered by Jane Rumsey at the start of the meeting. The oath is as follows:

I do solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of this State, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of Member of the Board of Education of Centreville Public Schools, St. Joseph County, Michigan according to the best of my ability. 

Description:  Note: Following board policy, prior to electing a board president in January after a November election, the Superintendent serves as presiding officer.

BACKGROUND: As a good practice, the board should accept the consent agenda for the evening's meeting which includes the minutes of the December 10, 2018 regular meeting.

BACKGROUND: Changes to the BOE necessitate updating the BOE committees. Attached is the proposed committee listing. There is an opening on the Curriculum Coordinating Committee. (In July it was decided to leave this position vacant until committees were reorganized in January.) 

RECOMMENDATION:  Review the proposed committee listing, make changes as necessary and approve.
