Recognize Visitors: The Marion ISD Board of Trustees designates a time for audience participation at the beginning of each regular meeting to hear persons who desire to make comments. In accordance with Board Policy BED(LOCAL), those wishing to speak shall sign up before the meeting begins stating the concern or noting the agenda item they wish to address. Audience participation is limited to five minutes, audiences of more than five persons shall appoint a representative, and the Board shall not deliberate any subject not on the posted agenda.

Public Testimony:
Recognize Visitors:  The Marion ISD Board of Trustees designates a time for audience participation at the beginning of each regular meeting to hear persons who desire to make comments on a specific posted agenda item.  Those wishing to speak shall notify the Superintendent or Board President via email 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled meeting and must indicate in writing the agenda item to be addressed.  Public Testimony is limited to 2 minutes.

Discuss and Consider the out of state travel for the FFA qualifying teams and take action as necessary

Discuss and consider the donation from the Marion Education Foundation in the amount of $12,600 to our campuses for supplies.

Closed Session:  The Marion ISD Board of Trustees will convene in a closed meeting pursuant to the following sections of the Texas Government Codes:

Deliberation regarding the possible purchase of real property for future campus development where the public deliberation would have a detrimental effect on the District's bargaining position pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.072.

Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to discuss the Superintendent evaluation and instrument.

Sec 551.076 Deliberation Regarding Security Devices or Security Audits

* No final action, decision, or vote will be taken by the Board while in executive session.* Open Session: Consider and take possible action regarding items discussed in closed session.

Discussion and possible action related to purchase of real property for future campus development.
