After the financial revision in August, the district surpassed budgets in 4 functions as of 9/13/24. The revisions did not account for August payroll accruals, which doubled the Aug expenses. Also, recording employees to the correct budget codes for payroll expenses moved expenses into different functions and the accruals were not accounted for. This will be a finding in the audit.
