V. INTERMEDIATE AND MIDDLE SCHOOL MATHEMATICS RESOURCES REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION

Amy Johnson and Tim Schell
Description:
Our mathematics teachers at the Intermediate and Middle Schools have been piloting new mathematics resources this year. The finalists are Imagine Learning (Illustrative Mathematics) and Amplify Desmos, which builds from the Illustrative Mathematics foundation with additional technology resources including supports for special populations and Desmos graphing technology. Our pilot teachers are meeting Monday afternoon for the decision meeting. Consequently, we do not have materials for BoardBook, but will have an in-person update at Tuesday's Curriculum Committee meeting.

VI. TEXTBOOK REQUESTS-FIRST LOOK

Description:
Amy and Tim will be providing an overview of this year's textbook requests. This is a first look for informational purposes, and we will provide capsules on key purchases for your action in April. We will also have updated cost information for the selected mathematics resource for Intermediate and Middle Schools for your April meeting.

VII. CURRICULUM PROJECT REQUESTS-FIRST LOOK

Description:
Amy and Tim will be presenting a first look at our summer curriculum project requests. This will be an action item in April. Between now and then, some of these requests may be assigned to different budgets, but we will be needing to make reductions to fit within budget parameters.
