Description:  Attached please find revisions to our policy related to Facility Use and Fees.  Aaron May, Steve Summers, and I met following the last Policy Committee Meeting to clarify our approach to this policy and its related issues.  After our discussion, we feel there needs to be a two stage approach -- the first revision taking place now, and second revision needing further discussion and dialog with community groups next school year.  Our recommendation is as follows:

Stage 1: Current Revisions

The policy revision that is attached addresses the following items:

1.  Defining the definition of a Local/Resident Club.

2.  Linking the Policy on Facility Use to a District Document that Outlines the Fee Structure for Facility Use.

3.  We are recommending that we remove from policy any items that outline specific fees. 

4.  We also have attached a recommended fee structure change for use of specific facilities.  This will not be a policy document.

5.  Additionally, we are sharing a revision of the Facility Categories to appropriately define the use of New Intermediate School Gym and the renovated Warrior Stadium.

6.  Finally, we sharing our recommendation for Priorities and Structures for the use of a renovated Warrior Stadium.

Stage 2:  To Be Approved in the 2017-2018 School Year for Implementation July 1, 2018

For stage two we need to work with the Board to clarify our Categorization of Groups who use our facilities and then review/analyze/modify our fee structure as to who pays.  This process will take more time and will require one-on-one conversations with community groups such as Village Recreation, should a change be made, so they can plan accordingly.

We will discuss these policy and fee structure changes and our approach to future revisions at the meeting on Wednesday.

Description:  Attached please find a revision to our Transportation Policy..  This revision was missed when we realigned elementary boundaries last year and built the new Intermediate School.  The highlighted revision was added to the transportation handbook last year but did not get updated in policy.

5.  Review options for contracted services for policy development and management
