8.B. Discuss/Consider the Approval of the Annual 2025-26 TEKS Certification Form.
Description:
Annual approval that MISD is using approved instructional materials from TEA. Must be completed to receive Instructional Materials Technology Allotment (IMTA) funds. MISD will not be able to access EMAT system if it is not approved before May 1st each year. This is the statewide online ordering platform.

8.D. Discuss/Consider the Approval of Local Match Commitment to Texas Department of Emergency Management for Hazard Mitigation Plan Creation
Description:
Creation of Hazard Mitigation Plan that all state entities must have to receive FEMA funds during a disaster. Mason County currently does not have one. Enables MISD the ability to receive grants funding through FEMA (TDEM).
