Description:
With school being out, we do not have a safety report but wanted to tall you that we will be completing safety team training this month.

4.A. Consideration and Action on continuing the busing agreement with Pampa ISD for the 2024-2025 School Year.
Description:
Miami ISD would like to continue the busing agreement with Pampa ISD for the 2024-2025 school year, contingent upon the approval of the agreement with Pampa ISD.

4.B. Consider and Approve Employee health plan for the 2024-2025 school year.
Description:
We received two competitive quotes with a plan through Curative Insurance. One is through FSB and the other is through USB.
FBS is our current provider. They are offering a 1 year rate that is reasonable and provides great coverage for our employees. USB would be a new provider for Miami. They are offering the same plan with a year year rate guarantee. The plan has great coverage as well but the cots for the two years is more expensive. I will provide more information in detail at the meeting. |
4.C. Consider and Approve termination of the contract with Texas School Health Benefits Program effective 9/01/24.
Description:
This will terminate our agreement with TSHBP (our current health insurance carrier) effective 9-01-2024

4.D. Consider and approve raises for hourly employees
Description:
I will propose a 2% raise for all hourly staff.
James left the district and Virginia has stated she plans to leave at the end of her contract. |
