II.A. Community Preschool will be highlighting a number of offerings for our youngest learners and their families including:
• Enrolling now
      o  Preschool fall 2016-17
      o  Summer Kindergarten Readiness classes
      o  Spring Parents In Action (PIQE), and
• Advertising - Conscious Discipline:   A learning event for Licensed Day Care providers in   SSP and open to the entire community!

ECFE has been promoting “STAR – Sit Together And Read,” with all of the ECFE families.  We wil highlight the STAR process and acknowledge the SSP Teacher’s Union for their February Book Drive that collected over 600 books for us to give to our ECFE families!(C. Garling-Squire)

V.A. Approval, for the South St. Paul Board of Education to approve the 2016-17 proposed budget adjustments. (A. Bushberger)
   

V.B. Approval, for the South St. Paul Board of Education to approve scheduling a Closed Session following the regular business meetings on April 11 and 25, 2016, for a negotiations update per the Open Meeting Law (Minn. Stat. § 13D).
   

V.C. Approval, for the South St. Paul Board of Education to approve the appointment of Luke Olson to a three year term beginning in April of 2016, as a school district representative on the Central Square Community Center Advisory Board. (W. Felton)
    

V.D. Approval, for the South St. Paul Board of Education to authorize Dr. Dave Webb to act as the LEA Representative in filing the Title III Improvement Plan as provided under Public Law 107-110.  The LEA Representative will ensure that the school district maintains compliance with the appropriate Federal statutes, regulations, and state procedures currently in effect and will act as the responsible authority in all matters relating to the administration of English Learner Education Program Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives Plan.
