II.A. ECFE and Preschool Teacher Summer Waits will share details of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) curriculum that is being used in the district's Early Learning Program.
  

II.B. Special Services Assistive Technology Team, Jenn Veenendall and Robin Ross, will focus on one of this year's initiatives to increase student application of accessible instruction materials through various assistive technology resources and tools.  They will highlight training opportunities, grants, and student use of available technology. V.A. Approval, for the South St. Paul Board of Education to approve scheduling a Closed Session following the regular business meetings on April 13 and 27, 2015, for a negotiations update per the Open Meeting Law (Minn. Stat. § 13D).
   

V.B. Approval, for the South St. Paul Board of Education to approve the 2015-16 Proposed Budget Adjustments.
  

V.C. Approval, for the South St. Paul Board of Education to approve the resolution awarding the sale, determining the form and details, authorizing the execution, delivery, and registration, and providing for the payment of general obligation capital facilities bonds, series 2015A. V.D. Approval, for the South St. Paul Board of Education to award the student transportation contracts to Safeway Bus (Safe-Way Bus WI, Inc.) and Wide Area Transportation Services Int., LLC (WATSI) for two contract years commencing with August 1, 2015 and ending July 31, 2017, with an option to extend for an additional two one-year contract years, consistent with Minnesota Statute 2014, Section 123B.52, Subds. 1 and 3, and further, direct administration to complete the formal contracts as recommended and present for approval at a board meeting in April, 2015, along with the following findings:  1.  Safeway Bus and WATSI are responsible service providers, consistent with the applicable state law; 2.  Safeway Bus and WATSI provided the District with the lowest cost quotation(s) in response to the criteria in the District's Specification; and 3. All bus services will continue to provide consistent with District policies and past practices for distances for student eligibility, distance to bus stops, and bus ride length.
  

V.E. Approval, for the South St. Paul Board of Education to hold a closed session at the end of the meeting tonight, per Minn. Statute 13D.05, subdivision 3(c), to discuss developing offers for the purchase of real property at 125 - 21st Avenue South.
